How to Remove Surgery Scars on the Breast

      Apply sunscreen to your scars every day before you go out. Even if you think your scars are covered up and protected from the sun, sunlight may be coming in through your shirt.

      Apply a topical ointment that's made to fade scars a couple of times a day.

      Rub lemon juice onto your scars. It contains bleaching properties that will help lighten dark scars.

      Make an appointment with a doctor. Once the doctor has seen your scars, he can advise you whether you'll need surgery or not. Laser surgery, skin grafts and excision are all surgical procedures used to reduce scars.
