With the spread of on-demand printing online, creating custom items from shirts to mugs is now an endeavor which can be completed cheaply. Creating your own custom mug is as simple as uploading a photo, slogan or drawing of your choosing to a printing company, which then imprints your desired mug for you and ships it out.

Visit the link in the resources below to visit Zazzle.com's mug creation template.

Click the "Create a Mug" button.

Click "Download Guide File" in the lower right portion of the screen.

Select "Mug - Full Wrap" or "Mug - Half Wrap" from the window which opens, depending on the style of mug you wish to create, and download the template.

Open the file with an image editing program and create your desired design. You can use a photograph which you have taken, or you can use the image editing program to draw a design for your mug.

Select "Add images" and then "Select images to upload" on the website to open up the picture selection box. Locate the image created in Step 5 and click the "Open" button, then the "OK" button.

Click "Add text" to add writing to your mug by entering it in the box which opens and pressing the "OK" button.
