If you like salsa with tomatoes try making kiwi salsa with a little kick. Kiwi is a natural blood thinner and contain dietary fiber. The skin of the Kiwi, if wash properly can be eaten raw and contain flavonoid antioxidants. It easy, simple and healthy for you. A refreshing treat to make in less than 15 minutes.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3/4 ripe Kiwi fruit
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tsp green onion
  • 1 tablespoon fresh
  • jalapeño pepper (chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil salt and pepper (to taste)
  1. Step 1

    Peel whole kiwi fruit and chopped into cubes place in a large to medium size bowl. Peel and chopped 1/2 of an avocado and slice into small cubes to add to the kiwi,lightly toss into the kiwi fruit in the bowl.

  2. Step 2

    Core the green pepper rent and drain thinly slice green pepper to add to the kiwi mixture. Add olive oil and lightly toss the kiwi salsa. Add jalapeno peppers to taste. Add cilantro salt or salt substitute and black pepper. Make about 1/2 cup of salsa.

  3. Step 3

    To make homemade pita chips to go with kiwi salsa instead of corn chip. Use whole wheat tortillas medium. Cut the tortillas into equal parts representing corn chip size. Place on a plate and put in the microwave for about 1-2 minutes depending on your how fast your microwave cook until crispy. Let cool serve with kiwi salsa.
