Things You'll Need:
- Toaster
- Small Fry Pan
- Pat of Butter (or margerine)
- English Muffin(s) any brand
- Breakfast sausage patty(s) or sliced deli ham
- Egg(s)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
-
Step 1
Any brand will work just fine!Any brand English muffin will work. You can add some additional health benefit by using whole wheat ones. You will need one per person. Slice it in half with a bread knife or gently pry open with a fork.
-
Step 2
Place sliced muffin into your toaster and toast to your personal preference of doneness. I like mine to have a nice golden brown color to it with crispy edges.
-
Step 3
While your toaster is toasting, prepare a store bought, frozen sausage patty by wrapping it in a double layer of paper towel (to absorb grease) Note* If you don't want/like sausage, you can warm up a few slices of lean deli ham instead or even go meatless.
Heat your sausage patty (or ham) quickly and easily in your microwave. -
Step 4
After melting the pat of butter in the fry pan, crack an egg into it and lightly salt and pepper as it is frying.
-
Step 5
As soon as the muffin is done toasting, put it on a small plate and lay a slice of american (or any) cheese on it first. Then place the heated sausage patty on top of the cheese.
-
Step 6
When you are done frying your egg, place it on top of the meat and cheese on the muffin, cover with the other half of the muffin and ENJOY!!!
