How to Make a Large Quantity (320) of Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies for a Group/Crowd

Feeding a large group of people and need easy recipes for a crowd? I'm including several and this one is for making Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies. It makes 320 cookies. Also Check out my other recipes for crowds. You don't have to worry about doing the math. It is done for you. Go to a Food Warehouse or Food Club to purchase your large quantities like Sam's Club, Gordon Foods, or other places. You can often sign up for an account and they can give you discounts for large quantity purchases. If you are a not-for-profit organization, you can maybe get special discounts or other deals. Call ahead to make sure they have everything you need or in case you need to pre-order. Read through everything before getting started.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 12 C butter, softened
  • 9 C sugar
  • 9 C brown sugar
  • 4 T. Pure Vanilla
  • 2 T. water
  • 24 large eggs, beaten
  • 16 C. flour
  • 4 T. baking soda
  • 4 T. salt
  • 8 C. Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • nuts, optional
  • very large greased baking sheets
  1. Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Step 2

    In a very large mixing bowl, combine softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and water and beat until creamy. Beat in eggs.

  3. Step 3

    In another large mixing bowl, Sift together flour, baking soda, salt. set aside. Add to the other bowl.

  4. Step 4

    Stir in Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips and nuts. With cookie scoop, drop cookie dough on large greased cookie sheets.

  5. Step 5

    Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Makes 320 cookies.

  6. Step 6

    Variations: 1. Omit nuts and add Rice Krispies cereal. 2. Add chopped dates. 3. Add grated Orange rind. 4. Add raisins. 5. Add Peanut Butter.
