For some teachers, it is very difficult to effectively write report card comments for students and parents. It doesn't have to be. Below, I will tell you the steps that are necessary in order to effectively write report card comments for students and parents.

Things You'll Need

• A pen
• Knowledge of the student

Instructions

1. Think about each student individually. This is important because each student deserves accurate comments. Try to remember things that happened with each student. Did Suzi have trouble staying on task? Did Bobby turn his assignments in on time? Did Marquis have a good attitude towards school? Write all this down before you give report card comments. Do this for each student.

2. Write the comments for each student. Make sure you write the correct comments for each student. Imagine what it would be like for Bobby if his parents disciplined him for not staying on task, and it was not him doing that(it was Suzi who had trouble staying on task).

3. Check and recheck each student's comments to make sure you have correctly written each student's comments. Do this 2-3 times. You should have the comments completed effectively.
