Run Imgburn and select "Create Image File." If you do not see these options, navigate to the "Mode" menu in the program toolbar, and select "EZ Mode Picker".

Ensure that the disc you wish to copy is inserted into your CD drive; select this drive as "Source." Click the file icon under "Destination" to choose the location and file name for the copied disc image.

Click on the large "Read" icon at the bottom of the program window to begin the copy. When the process is complete you will have a disc image file containing the data on the copied disc. This file can be run by a virtual drive program such as Daemon Tools, or can be burned onto a new disc using the "Copy Image to Disc" option from the main menu of imgburn.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Occasionally the disc burning process can fail despite using a valid image file, if this occurs try lowering the write speed to a setting below 8x.
