Front load washers are the more energy-efficient versions of top loading washers. Oxyclean is a relatively new product that's becoming more popular because of its assistance in cleaning clothes. However, many people are asking how to use Oxyclean in front load washers because improper use can result in ruined clothes.

Step 1

Load the machine with your laundry as you normally would. Choose the cleaning cycle best for the laundry loaded.

Start the front load washer. Add a pre-dissolved solution of one oz. Oxyclean and 16 oz. of water to the external dispenser.

Step 3

Boost the cleaning power of Oxyclean by running the machine on hot or warm water, if possible. Pretreat or presoak tough stains on laundry with Oxyclean, according to manufacturer's directions.

Front Load Washer Without External Dispenser

Step 1

Mix one oz. of Oxyclean detergent booster with your powdered detergent. Load your laundry into your front load washer.

Step 2

Choose the most appropriate laundry cleaning cycle for the laundry loaded. Start your front load washer.

Add premixed Oxyclean detergent booster and the recommended amount of powdered laundry detergent to the front load washer during the time of the washing cycle recommended by the washer manufacturer.
