1
Purchase an odor eliminating spray. Spray this product at least three times a day. Light incense and candles around the same time that you use your spray. Use the incense and candles only in your home. Avoid them if the odors are in your vehicle.
-
2
Call a professional to vaccuum and clean the places that the odor is in. Before settling on the first professional you come across, look around so that you can compare fees.
-
-
3
Buy an ionizing air filter. Air filters are probably the most effective means of reducing smoke and fume odors in closed areas like homes or offices.
-
4
Air the fumes and smoke odors out by leaving open windows and buying a fan. Of course, you can't leave a window open all the time, but do it as often as possible.
-
5
Sprinkle baking soda on the places where the odor can be detected. Leave the baking soda there for about two hours before vacuuming it up. Baking soda absorbs odors.
-
6
Place fabric softener sheets ("dryer sheets") around the places with the odor. These scented sheets will help replace the smoke and fume odor.
