How to Mass Forward Email

Forwarding an email is something that most people who regularly use any email service have done. However, there are occasions where a single email should be forwarded to a variety of people. Whether this is for personal reasons, or to make sure everyone on a team at work gets a certain memo makes no difference, because the procedure is exactly the same. However, there might be slight variations from one email program to another, so some tinkering may be necessary to find out just how your particular email program works.

Instructions

    • 1

Update your address book. The address book feature in an email program is where the recipients of the forwarded email will come from, so you have to make sure all of the necessary email addresses are in there.

    • 2

Open the email that you want to forward.

    • 3

Click the forward button. This should bring up a new window with the necessary message, and at the top there will be a To field where you type in your email address (this is to protect your contacts) and a BCC field, where you will list all the people the message should be forwarded to.

    • 4

Add contacts to the BCC field. You do this by opening up your address book and adding the contacts, one by one, that you want the email forwarded to.

    • 5

      Send the email.
