Wipe the scratched area of the floor with a micro-fiber cloth to remove dust and dirt. Run your finger over the scratch to see if the edges of it lift. If the edges of the scratch are lifted higher than the floor, then lightly sand the scratch with a sanding pad in the Bruce Touch Up kit. Wipe away the sanding dust with a micro-fiber cloth.

Use a touch-up marker from the Bruce Touch Up kit to fill in the color on the scratch. Be careful to apply the marker color only to the scratch.

Place a tiny bit of Dura-Luster urethane from the Bruce Touch Up kit on a cotton ball and buff the repaired area until it blends with the rest of the flooring.

Tips & Warnings
For larger repair areas, apply Bruce Fresh Finish to the floor with a sponge mop and allow the finish to dry completely before walking on the flooring or placing items on it.
To avoid scratching your hardwood floor, do not drag objects across the floor or walk on the floor with shoes containing dried mud. Keep pets nails trimmed or filed to avoid scratching the floor.
