How to Make a Large Amount of Fudge Sauce for a Crowd/Group

Feeding a large group of people and need easy recipes for a crowd? I'm including several and this one is for making Fudge Sauce to put on cakes or ice cream or for dipping fruits etc. It serves a lot of people. Also Check out my other recipes for crowds. You don't have to worry about doing the math. It is done for you. Go to a Food Warehouse or Food Club to purchase your large quantities like Sam's Club, Gordon Foods, or other places. You can often sign up for an account and they can give you discounts for large quantity purchases. If you are a not-for-profit organization, you can maybe get special discounts or other deals. Call ahead to make sure they have everything you need or in case you need to pre-order. Read through everything before getting started.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 quarts of sugar
  • 4 C Cocoa
  • 1 C flour
  • 2 quarts Milk
  • 2 t salt
  • 2 C butter or 4 sticks
  • 1/2 C. Vanilla Extract
  • Large Pot
  1. Step 1

    Mix sugar, cocoa, and flour in a very large pot. Add milk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly so it doesn't burn.

  2. Step 2

    Boil for 2 minutes. Add salt, butter, and vanilla. Stir. Remove from heat when finished and thick.

  3. Step 3

    Serve warm over slices of cake, ice cream, or use for dipping fruit pieces, cake pieces, marshmellows, pretzels, etc.
