How to Hang Pictures on Poured Concrete Constructed Walls

In block houses, it is necessary to use a special procedure when hanging pictures on the walls. Because concrete is much harder than wood or paneling, nails are not an option. Special nail-type items have been developed that will allow you to hang your favorite picture today.

Things You'll Need

• Picture
• Drill
• 3/16-inch masonry drill bit
• Plastic or metal anchors
• Anchor hooks
• Hanging wire

Instructions

1. Drill a 3/16-inch diameter hole in the concrete with a masonry bit. Insert a metal or plastic anchor.

2. Insert an anchor hook--a screw with a picture hook attached to it--into the metal or plastic anchor.

3. Hang your picture on your newly installed hanger with hanging wire.
