How to Get Rid of Upper Arm Cellulite
Cellulite is that bumpy, orange peel-looking skin that can be found on the buttocks, thighs and sometimes upper arms on the vast majority of women and, in a few cases, men. It appears in the subcutaneous fat layer, the one immediately under the skin. In most cases it has nothing to do with the person being overweight, as plenty of skinny women suffer from this unsightly condition. It is questionable if cellulite can be removed entirely, but there are certainly things you can do about it to improve its current stage. Upper arm cellulite is no different.

1
Start exercising for increased circulation of the lymph and to burn body fat. Some women who lose weight will find that their cellulite disappear as well. You want to do both cardio and weight training, four to five times per week and for at least 30 minutes each time. Jogging, walking, swimming, the elliptical and the stairmaster are some good choices. You want to train your entire body, even if you are only looking to get rid of arm cellulite. According to the website Womensfitnesschannel.com, "The loss of subcutaneous fat is far greater when you use exercise, rather than dieting alone, to help you lose weight. There's also a link between exercise frequency and the loss of subcutaneous fat. In other words, the more often you exercise, the more subcutaneous fat you'll lose."

Watch your diet. Stop eating junk food if cellulite elimination is your goal. Focus on eating lots of fruits and vegetables. Avoid processed foods and food with lots of sugar or salt. Experts still do not see eye to eye in terms of the cause of cellulite. While most seem to think it is due to irregular connective tissue, some believe it is only due to toxins in your system. To be on the safe side, limit your intake of alcohol and certainly do not smoke.

Look into non-surgical options. Recently, a treatment called endermologie has become popular. According to the website Celluliteexpert.com, "It involves the use of a motorized device with two adjustable rollers and controlled suction, which creates a symmetrical skin-fold." It is FDA approved. Unfortunately, it seems to only remove cellulite temporarily, but for now, seems to be the best non-surgical option out there.

4
Explore surgical options. While most reputable surgeons cannot promise that your arm cellulite will disappear entirely through liposuction, certainly it is likely to look better after the procedure. Keep in mind that surgery should be your last resort.

Tips & Warnings
Watch out for expensive "miracle" creams that promise cellulite elimination. They may give the appearance of working but usually do so temporarily. Unfortunately, your cellulite will return soon.
