How to Mow Winter Rye Grass
When properly maintained, rye grass can keep your yard green and attractive throughout the winter. Although rye grass is very hardy, it does need care. The correct way to mow winter grass depends on two factors: what kind of rye grass it is, and where you live in the country. In warmer conditions, rye grass is mowed more often and to a shorter length. The opposite applies to cooler climates. Certain guidelines apply to mowing rye grass in all areas.
