      Cleanse your face gently using a sensitive skin soap. Use only a soap designed for sensitive skin types, which will not contains any ingredients that could inflame or irritate the face, or exacerbate acne. Wet the skin, and lather your hands with the soap. Apply the lather to your face using a gentle touch, then rinse the skin clean. Avoid scrubbing the skin, which will damage the surface layers and aggravate acne.

      Smooth a 2.5% concentration benzoyl peroxide cream onto the skin. Squeeze a dime-sized amount of the cream onto your fingers and spread it gently onto your face. Continue to smooth it on the skin until the cream has been absorbed into the skin.

      Apply an oil-free facial lotion to your face once the benzoyl peroxide cream has dried on the skin. This allows the skin to clear without drying out. Apply a dime-sized amount to the skin, and gently massage it in until the lotion has been absorbed.

  • Use only an oil-free lotion that does not contain comedogenic oils or waxes, which can clog the pores.

  • Follow these steps twice per day; once in the morning and again in the evening.
