Clean the brush head daily. While attached to the handle, tilt the brush head downward under running water and turn it on to dislodge any remaining toothpaste. Turn the device off and remove the brush head. Use a damp cloth to wipe down the plastic components of the brush head, including the underside where it attaches to the handle. Place your brush heads in the UV sterilizing compartment if this feature is included in your model and turn on the sterilizing cycle.

Clean the handle weekly. Unscrew the bolt at the point where the handle attaches to the brush head. Use a soft cloth to remove any reside under the nut and inside the top of the handle where the nut sits. Screw the handle back together, then use the cloth to wipe down the rest of he handle, paying special care to the buttons and the bottom of the handle where debris commonly collect.

Wipe down the charging cradle as needed. Use a soft, damp cloth to remove any dust or dried toothpaste that has accumulated on the charger. Wipe down the cord to prevent dust build-up.

Wipe out the inside and outside of the Sonicare's travel bag with a damp cloth if it has recently been used for travel.
