How to Use Baby Powder on Hair to Get Rid of Grease
For a lot of women, especially those who flat iron their hair, the style looks better on the second day once natural hair oils have worked their way through. This can lead to hair that looks a little oily at the roots, but not dirty enough to risk ruining the style by washing it. Applying a small amount of baby powder can absorb the excess grease and make hair look fresh and clean. This trick is also good for anyone in a hurry, including guys, who don't have time to wash their hair. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Lay a towel down on the floor to catch excess baby powder. Leaving baby powder on the floor leads to a slipping or falling hazard.
-
2
Stand on top of the towel and pour a small amount a baby powder (roughly a teaspoon) into your palm. Rub your hands together just enough to coat each hand with a layer of baby powder.

3
Scrunch and pat your hair at the roots, working the baby powder into your hair and scalp. Continue working the powder through your hair until you can no longer see its white residue. Repeat as many times as necessary until your hair is completely de-greased.
-
4
Flip your head upside down, over the towel, and shake out your hair to remove any excess baby powder. Double check the mirror to make sure there's no white residue remaining.
-
5
Apply a small amount of hairspray to your hands and run your fingers through your hair if the baby powder has increased your hair's static electricity.
