Use moderate to large quantities of any type of hair conditioner if you have no other options. Be careful when applying because if you use too much, your hair may appear greasy for a few days afterwards. The conditioner should help to soften the hair and remove the stiffness of the styling glue. It may take several washes to remove the glue totally. It may be helpful to massage hair conditioner into the hair and let it stay in the hair for 10 to 15 minutes to soften the hair. During this time, you may leave the shower with the conditioner in your hair and a towel wrapped around your head.

Re-wash your hair nce you feel all the styling glue has been removed. Lather shampoo into the hair, wash it out, lather conditioner in the hair and wash that out as well to prevent your hair from appearing overly greasy. It may take your hair a few days to lose the greasy feeling and appearance.

  • Keep hair hydrated to wash out stiffness.

  • Use just enough conditioner to wash out the styling gel.
