How to Study the Bible Without Ever Picking up a Pen or Paper

You don't need to take notes to study the Bible.

Note taking can only help a person recall facts from a book like the Bible. However, notes can be hard to keep up with and organize. Some of the options for a bible study student include audio tapes and memorization.

1. Read the bible one book at a time. For example, read only the book of James over 30 days. When you feel you know all you need to know about James, move on to another book and give it a month of study.

2. Listen to an audio bible online. Some of these services can be set up to play whole chapters or single verses.

3. Listen to sermon downloads from the passage or book you are reading. Listen to it every day and look for audio sermons on that passage. A few resources for sermons can be found at gty.org and monergism.com.
