How to Make Sorbet From Scratch
Sorbet is a frozen fruit puree similar to sherbet. The only difference is that sorbet does not contain any milk or egg. Normally, you would churn sorbet in an ice cream maker., but you can achieve the same texture without special equipment by using simple syrup. Simple syrup is a basic sugar and water mixture that will prevent the sorbet from freezing into a solid block of ice when you put it in the freezer. Does this Spark an idea?
