How to Bake a Large Quantity of Peanut Butter Cookies for a Crowd/Group

Feeding a large group of people and need easy recipes for a crowd? I'm including several and this one is for making Peanut Butter Cookies. Also Check out my other recipes for crowds. You don't have to worry about doing the math. It is done for you. Go to a Food Warehouse or Food Club to purchase your large quantities like Sam's Club, Gordon Foods, or other places. You can often sign up for an account and they can give you discounts for large quantity purchases. If you are a not-for-profit organization, you can maybe get special discounts or other deals. Call ahead to make sure they have everything you need or in case you need to pre-order. Read through everything before getting started.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4 C shortening
  • 4 C peanut butter
  • 4 C sugar
  • 4 C packed light brown sugar
  • 8 large eggs, beaten
  • 10 C flour
  • 4 t. baking powder
  • 6 t. baking soda
  • 2 t salt
  • cookie scoop
  • large cookie sheet pans
  • large mixing bowl
  1. Step 1

    Using a large mixer, place in the large mixing bowl the shortening, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, and eggs. Beat together.

  2. Step 2

    Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix together again.

  3. Step 3

    Using a 1 oz. cookie scoop, place scoops of cookie dough on cookie sheets 2 - 3 inches apart.

  4. Step 4

    Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes before removing to cooling racks.
