How to Make a Large Quantity of Meatloaf for a Crowd/Group of 100

Feeding a large group of people and need easy recipes for a crowd? I'm including several and this one is for making Meatloaf for a group of about 100. Also Check out my other recipes for crowds. You don't have to worry about doing the math. It is done for you. Go to a Food Warehouse or Food Club to purchase your large quantities like Sam's Club, Gordon Foods, or other places. You can often sign up for an account and they can give you discounts for large quantity purchases. If you are a not-for-profit organization, you can maybe get special discounts or other deals. Call ahead to make sure they have everything you need or in case you need to pre-order. Read through everything before getting started.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 28 lbs. ground beef 4 qt. bread crumbs 28 large eggs, beaten 2 T. ground pepper 7 C Hot Water 14 pkgs. Onion Sour Mix 11 C Ketchup package of Bacon Strips Large pans
  1. Step 1

    In a very large mixing bowl , Mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, beaten eggs, hot water, Onion soup Mix packets, and Ketchup.

  2. Step 2

    Shape into TEN 3 lb. loaves. Cover loaves with bacon strips and more ketchup if you like.

  3. Step 3

    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Knife inserted should be easy and inside middle should look gray, not pink.

  4. Step 4

    Makes 100 slices.
