How to Change The Height of a Tow Hitch
The height of a tow hitch on a vehicle, such as a truck, needs to be low or high enough so the trailer that is being towed is as level as possible. One way to make sure that the trailer is setting level is to make sure the hitch height is adequate. The hitch height is measured from the trailer ball base to the ground. You can adjust the height on a tow hitch by first determining where the trailer sits when it is attached to the hitch.
