Applying to colleges can be stressful. You're busy with any number of things. Despite this, it is important to write a thank you letter to admissions officer at the schools you apply to. Trust me, this can leave a lasting impression.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A pen
  • Personalized stationary.
  • An envelope
  • A stamp
  1. Step 1

    Use personal stationary. You'll need stationary that has your name on it. This is an added touch that is necessary in this situation because the situation is a formal one.

  2. Step 2

    Start with the greeting. You want to go with, " Dear Mr. or Ms. ---- ". That way, you are keeping the letter formal.

  3. Step 3

    Write the body of your letter. You should go with something like, " I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about attending * School Name *. Our meeting has proven to be extremely beneficial in to my college search. I greatly enjoyed * write down what you enjoyed *".

  4. Step 4

    Add a closing. Something simple like Sincerely * Your Legal Name * would suffice. Now you are ready to mail off your letter.

  • Always be sincere when writing a thank you note.
