Analyze their emotions and gestures. Is there a delayed reaction or no reaction at all to statements? For example... do they say "Oh No..." then bring their hand to their mouth in shock? - While speaking to them, a change of subject will be welcome. Whereas, if a person is telling the truth they will want to keep talking about the subject until they rid themselves of guilt.
