How to Kill a Print Job in Vista
People often begin to print documents only to remember seconds later that they forgot to change something. There's no need to worry, however, since Windows Vista makes it very simple to control your print jobs. All you need to do is look at the print queue, even while documents are in the midst of printing. If you have Windows Vista on your PC, all you need to do is follow a few simple steps to kill a print job.

To cancel your own print job, click on the "Start" button. Click "Control Panel" and open the "Hardware and Sound" section. Then click "Printers." Any user is able to cancel their own print jobs.

Double-click the printer that you are using. This is important if you have more than one printer that you connect to your computer regularly.

In the print queue, find the item you want to stop printing. Right-click and scroll until you find the "Cancel" option.

To cancel all the items in a print queue, make sure you have permission to manage documents. If you installed the printer, you will be able to manage the documents. If the printer is on a server or connected to a business network, a system administrator may determine whether you have this permission.

If you have permission to manage documents, open the "Printers" window and double-click on the name of the printer you are using.

Click the "Printer" menu. Click "Cancel All Documents." The item might finish printing, depending on your printer. The remaining items will cancel.
