How to Make All Natural Drain Cleaner
When you're faced with a clogged drain, head for the kitchen pantry. A homemade drain cleaner made with ordinary household products is a natural and effective way to clear a drain. - Baking soda
- Vinegar
- Boiling water

Clear any obvious obstructions from the drain to be cleaned.

Pour 1/2 cup of baking soda down the drain. Use a stick or utensil to push the baking soda all the way down the drain.

Pour 1/2 cup of vinegar down the drain next. The baking soda and vinegar will react by bubbling.

Immediately cover the drain, if possible. Let the mixture set for about 10 minutes while you boil water.

After 10 minutes has passed, pour a kettle of boiling water down the drain to loosen the clog.

Tips & Warnings
If the drain is still slow, repeat the method.
Do not use this method if you have already poured in a chemical drain cleaner.
