Instructions

    • 1

Dust mop your marble floor. Do not use a broom, as this may scratch the surface.

    • 2

Dip a new, clean sponge mop in warm water, and wring out as much water as possible. Lightly damp mop the marble floor.

    • 3

Dry the floor with a clean cloth.

    • 4

Apply marble polish according to the directions printed on the label. This is very important, because instructions for use vary depending on the brand and the product. Misusing the product can dull or damage your marble floor.

    • 5

Buff the floor with a floor buffer until the shine is restored.

Tips & Warnings

  • To clean stains, dip a clean cloth or sponge mop in a mixture of 3 tsp. baking soda and 1 qt. warm water.

  • Never use any acidic or alkali cleaners on your floor, such as vinegar. They will destroy your marble floor.
