How to Do Your Own Chaldean Numerology Chart
Most people are familiar with numerology as a predictive tool similar to astrology but using numbers instead of stars and planets. The Chaldean system is an obscure but older method of evaluating a person's birth date and name "vibrations." It was in use long before the more commonly recognized Pythagorean system, having originated sometime between the eighth and seventh centuries, B.C., in ancient Babylonia. Here is how to do your own Chaldean numerology chart.

Doing your Chaldean Chart

Write down the name you go by on the piece of paper. Chaldean numerology does not require that you use the name that appears on your birth certificate. Instead, use the name that you are most known by. For example, if your first name is Daniel but your friends call you Danny, you should use Danny when computing your name number.

Add the numbers of each name together, one at a time. If your name is Jamie Ann McArtor, then you would have to compute three separate numbers, the results for the names Jamie (1+1+4+1+5=12), Ann (1+5+5=11) and McArtor (4+3+1+2+4+7+2=23). At this point do not attempt to reduce the numbers to a single digit or add them all together.

Record the numbers that you've calculated from your name. For Jamie Ann McArtor you would write down the double-digit numbers of 12, 11, and 23.

Reduce each name number to a single digit. Jamie Ann McArtor would reduce to three: (1+2), 2(1+1) and 5(2+3).

Add the single digits together from your first, middle and last names. For Jamie Ann McArtor, the final number would be 10 (3+2+5). This gives you your destiny number, which in the Pythagorean system is known as the Expression number. Record this final number on your piece of paper along with the other numbers.

Write down the date that you were born. The Chaldean system puts the most importance on the day of the month that you were born rather than the month or year digit. This number is generally not reduced. For example, if your birthday is November 23rd, than 23 is your birth date number. A person's birth date number indicates their general health and personality traits.

List all of the numbers that you've come up on one line of your paper. Jamie Ann McArtor, who was born on November 23rd, would list the single and double-digit numbers associated with her first (12,3), middle (11,2) and last (23,5) names, the single and double-digit number for her whole name added together (10,1), as well as her un-reduced birth date number (23).

Go online to a site that can provide interpretations as to what each number represents. Tips & Warnings
Chaldean numerology puts as much importance on compound (two-digit) numbers as it does single digits. Symbolically, single-digit numbers represent the outer personality while double-digit numbers reveal internal influences.
The birth number is given high status in Chaldean numerology because it remains constant, unlike the name number which can change over a person's lifetime.
In making a Chaldean numerology chart, married women should use the name that they most identify with, whether this is their married or maiden name.
Be certain that you are using the Chaldean values for the letters of your name, rather than the Pythagorean values. The Chaldean system does not utilize the number nine, so if the chart you're transcribing from has letters with the value of 9, you're using the wrong chart.
