1
Choose your headpiece carefully. Pick a headpiece that has elastic loops or a spot at the back where you can insert hairpins or glue on a hair comb.
-
2
Style your hair. Your hair should be exactly the way you want it before you pin the headpiece on. Think of putting the headpiece on as the cherry on top of a sundae.

3
Put the headpiece in place. Some headpieces come with an attached hair comb. If yours does not, purchase a hair comb ahead of time and glue the comb to the back of the headpiece using fabric glue.
-
4
Have a friend put the bobby pins into your hair, using the elastic loops or the teeth of the comb.
-
5
Take at least three shots of yourself with a digital camera from the front and sides. Make sure the headpiece is perfectly aligned. Seeing photographs of yourself will give you a better idea of how you are going to look in the wedding pictures than just looking in the mirror alone.

Tips & Warnings
If your headpiece includes a veil, make it a removable one so that you can dance the night away in your headpiece, minus the veil.
Don't use hot glue on your headpiece. It may not hold up if the weather is very warm.
