Propecia is prescribed for male hair loss and works by preventing the conversion of testosterone to DHT. As with all prescription drugs, Propecia comes with potential side effects.       Follow the instructions your doctor gives you, as well as the instructions inside the Propecia literature. Only take the amount of Propecia as directed by your doctor. Do not take Propecia for longer than your doctor advises.

      Take Propecia with a full glass of water.

      Take Propecia every day for three months. If you don't take it regularly, the medicine may not work like it's supposed to.

      Avoid getting up to quickly. After sitting or lying down, get up very slowly so you don't experience any dizziness.
