How to Convert & Burn Movies Fast
Burning movies can take a lot of time depending on quality and amount of video, but there are software programs that can speed up the process and do everything without someone operating the computer. One of these programs is Nero Vision, and the software enables users to speed through or add in custom details within minutes.

1
Open the Nero Start Smart program. Choose whether to burn a CD or DVD project. A blank CD will hold half a DVD quality movie or a whole movie with reduced quality. A blank DVD could hold 2 to 3 full length movies.
-
2
Click on the "Make your own DVD-Video" button for DVDs and "Make your own VCD" for CD projects.
-
-
3
Drag and drop the video files into the project window. A progress bar on the bottom of the screen will show how much space on the project is taken up. If there is too much data, the blue bar will have a red section on the end.
-
4
Click on the "Create Chapters" link to add chapters manually to the movies. Bypass this by clicking the "Advanced Options" menu and checking the box next to "Automatically Create Chapters."
-
5
Press the "Next" button to advance to the custom menu editor. The default menu features a blue background and a screenshot icon of the video. Press next to quickly move through this or double-click on the menu to change the background and preview icons.
-
6
Watch a preview of the disc. Make sure that all of the videos play correctly and play the audio along with the video. Use the arrows on the on-screen remote to select different menu options and see how the titles display.
-
7
Press the "Next" button to move to the final stage of the project. Insert a blank DVD or CD into the drive and wait a minute for the computer to process it. Select the burning options, but the default settings usually work fine. Press the "Burn" button to start the process. First, the menus will encode, the video will convert, and then the disc will burn. A time indicator gives an estimate of how long it will take.
-
8
Grab the disc when the burning process is complete and it pops out of the drive. Test the disc in a DVD player or on the computer.
