How to Clean a Sharp Microwave Drawer

      Pour a cup of water into a microwave-safe dish, and place it in the microwave on high heat for three minutes. This will loosen any built up residue, making the surface easy to wipe clean.

      While the water is in the microwave, add a cup of water to a spray bottle, along with one-half cup of distilled white vinegar. White vinegar has a disinfectant quality that will effectively clean the interior of the Sharp microwave drawer without causing damage. The vinegar also works as a deodorizer, eliminating unattractive odors that can sometimes develop. Make no substitutions because only distilled white vinegar has the disinfectant quality.
