How to Upload an Audio CD to a Computer

You can upload, or rip, an audio CD to your Windows computer using Windows Media Player. Windows Media Player is the default media player for the Windows operating system and can be used to listen to music, watch videos and manage your media collection. Windows Media Player 10 and later versions can convert music into the Windows Media Audio (.wma) and MP3 formats. Earlier versions of the software can only convert music into the .wma format, unless you purchase the MP3 add-on package.
