How to Make a Moisturizing Cuticle Treatment
Healthy cuticles are important for having healthy nails. If your cuticles are dry, then your nail probably are as well. Make your own cuticle cream to moisturize cuticles and as part of a home manicure. Apply a moisturizing cuticle treatment two to three times per week or as needed for damaged or dry cuticles. Things You'll Need
- 1 Tbsp. Beeswax
- Small pan
- Wooden spoon
- 1 Tbsp. Shea butter
- 1 Tbsp. Sweet almond oil
- Vitamin E oil capsule
- 5 Drops lemon oil

Grate or chop the beeswax then put into a small pan.

Pour in the sweet almond oil, and add the shea butter.

Warm the mixture over low heat, stirring the ingredients together gently. Once the beeswax has melted and the mixture is thoroughly combined, remove the pan from the heat.

Continue to stir the mixture. Once it begins to thicken, break the Vitamin E oil capsule and add it to the mixture. Add in the lemon oil, and stir together gently.

Pour the mixture into a small glass jar or small cosmetics container. Allow it to reach room temperature then cover and put into the fridge.

To use, dip a cotton swab into the cream and dab the treatment on each cuticle. Massage cream into the skin and nails. Store the mixture in the fridge between uses.
