How to Add a Friend on the Facebook Social Networking Site

You can easily invite your friends to join your facebook social network and get the most out of facebook!

Finding new and old friends that are on Facebook and adding them to your social network is what makes Facebook so much fun. Once you've added friends to your social network, you can write on their walls, comment on their posts and photos, and communicate using Facebook's internal messaging and chat applications.

• A computer with internet access.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Facebook account. If you haven't created an account yet, do so at the Facebook website.

2. Click "Find Friends" in the Facebook menu located in the upper right corner of your home page and profile page.

3. Review the friend suggestions Facebook makes for you based on your current friends and personal information. To add one of the suggested individuals to your Facebook friend list, click the "Add Friend" button to the left of a name. Facebook sends a friend request to the individual. After he accepts, he joins your friend list.

4. Select one of the options from the left column of the Find Friends page. For example, click the box next to your high school or college to see the names of Facebook users who attended the school.

5. Type the name of someone you seek in the Search box at the top of the page. View the results and click on the name or photo of the person you know. Click "Add Friend" on the individual's profile page.
