Rinse with salt water. 2-3 times a day mix 1 teaspoon of salt in a small glass of water. Swish this mixture around in your mouth for 3-4 minutes, allowing the salt to kill the yeast infection. Try not to rinse out your mouth after doing this - allowing the salt to stay will help cure this infection quicker.

Eat Yogurt. Yogurt contains pro-biotics which your body needs in order to fight thrush yeast. Yogurt replenishes the "good bacteria" in your system that things like "anti" biotics can remove. The more all natural the yogurt, the better the quality of pro-biotic.

Peel a garlic clove and put this in your mouth. Don't chew it, just move it around your mouth for about 5 minutes. Then, take the clove and rub it around the infection itself. Garlic is a powerful killer of thrush yeast! You can also use garlic oil on a cotton ball instead.

Avoid yeast growing foods such as coffee, alcohol, sugar and yeast filled products such as breads. This foods will actually "feed" the thrush yeast and cause your infection to worsen. Once the infection is gone, you can go back to eating and drinking these foods.

    Tips & Warnings

    • Never cut the garlic clove before you use it as this could cause irritation to your oral infection site.

    • Do not eat yeast filled breads when trying to cure a thrush infection! Eating these will only feed your infection causing it to worsen.

    • If your symptoms persist for longer than a week, contact your doctor. You may have a different issue you are unaware of.
