How to Put Facebook on a Cell Phone
Facebook is an online social network with more than 200 million users worldwide. Facebook can be integrated with a cell phone with text messaging capability or Internet connectivity. By activating Facebook Mobile, you will receive text messages--friend requests, messages, wall posts and status updates--to a specified cell phone. Log in to your Facebook account.

Click "Settings" on the top menu bar.

Click on the "Mobile" tab. You will be prompted to activate a cell phone. Click on "Register for Facebook Text Messages."

Make the appropriate selections in the series of three pop-up boxes, including entering your cell-phone carrier.

Send the message displayed to the mobile number provided in the second pop-up. Open the confirmation text message sent by Facebook to your cell phone.

Enter the Facebook Mobile confirmation code sent to your cell phone in the third pop-up box.

Select the notification options that you want Facebook to send to your cell phone. Save your preferences. You can edit preferences at any time, or cancel all Facebook updates to your cell phone.
