How to Create Your Own Mug Shot
There is a sense of sympathy experienced when viewing a mug shot. This might be related to the stiff demeanor, plain background or messed-up hair. Despite this, thousands of people scramble to locate popular mug shots online. Underneath the sympathy must lie a twisted pleasure in viewing somebody else's sad fate. Still, how would it feel to see your own face in a mug shot?

Take one full head shot of yourself and another with your head turned to the left. Try to keep your head at the same level as the first picture.

Upload the two pictures to your computer and save them in the "Pictures" folder located under "My Documents."

Go to Big Huge Labs sign-up page listed in the resources section below. Click "Okay, Sign Me Up!" Or click "Connect with Facebook" if you have a Facebook account. (Sign-up is required to use the online photo editing)

Navigate to Big Huge Labs' Mosaic maker (link shown below under resources,) and click the first box, titled "Choose Photo." Locate the head shot picture.

Double-click on it and click "Upload." When the upload is complete, you'll see a preview of the image. Click "Browse" and repeat this step for the second picture.

Double-click the first picture and choose the second box, labeled "Choose photo." Double-click the second picture.

Change the following options as follows: Rows =1; One Space Between Images = 0 pixels. Leave the other options at default.

Scroll down and click the "Create" button.

Tips & Warnings
Try to stand in front of a plain background while snapping the photos to make the more realistic.
Lower the resolution on your camera to reduce the file size of the picture. You might be unable to upload your photo if it's too large.
