How to Turn a Walking Cane
A walking cane provides extra support and balance assistance for people with gait problems or those recovering from surgery or an injury. Walking canes are available in different materials, such as wood or metal, and may have one to four supports at the bottom that are covered with rubber stops. Whether you need a cane for short-term or long-term use, knowing how to properly use your cane can increase your safety and boost your confidence.
