1
Decide how many days the camp will run and start time of each day. Make the camp long enough to teach the players a lot of information, but not so long that it burns the players out. When deciding the start time of each day, take into consideration that most players will have to be dropped off by a parent or guardian. Having the camp start or end on a weekend could be beneficial.

2
Invite local coaches to be instructors at the camp. By having a group of local coaches instruct, you can run multiple drills at the same time to have more kids involved. Most coaches like to share their knowledge with younger players.

Decide what types of drills you are going to have the players participate in. You will probably need a few basic pieces of equipment. Cones and athletic bags can be used for a lot of football-related drills.

4
Locate an athletic field to hold the camp. Ideally, you will want to use a football field because the dimensions will be of actual size. The most important part is finding a safe playing field that is large enough to accommodate all the players.

Advertise the camp in the local newspapers and on radio and television. If your budget is limited, choose the advertising outlet that you think will generate the most viewers.
