Instructions

    • 1

Loosen the dried paint from the cement sidewalk using the pressure washer. Start on the lowest setting and slowly increase the pressure, being careful not to damage the sidewalk.

    • 2

Pour a small amount of mineral spirits on the cement sidewalk. Use the wire brush to scrape away any remaining paint from the cement sidewalk. Work quickly before the mineral spirits evaporate.

    • 3

Sprinkle a small amount of dirt on the sidewalk to eliminate the light colored areas created by the pressure washer, mineral spirits and wire brush. Use your shoe or boot to massage the dirt into the cement sidewalk until the color has blended into a consistent balance with the rest of the sidewalk.

Tips & Warnings

  • Mineral spirits are extremely flammable. Do not smoke while using mineral spirits and never work with mineral spirits near an open flame.

  • Pressure washers are extremely powerful. Be sure to begin the pressure washer on a low setting and stand a few feet away from the cement sidewalk to avoid damaging the surface.
