How to Activate NetZero Voice
NetZero has offered a Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service (currently suspended) allowing its users to call other NetZero Voice members at no charge. The company also offered service to land lines and cell phones for a price.
Activation was required to use this service. This was accomplished as discussed below.

- Prepaid voice minutes (If calling people not on NetZero Voice)

Sign up for NetZero Voice on their website. You may use the free service or prepay for minutes to call landline and cell phones. Enter your name, address, phone number, and credit card number as required.

Download the NetZero Voice software from their website and install it. Follow the directions on the installer to set up the program.

Run NetZero Voice. You will need to enter your NetZero username and password. The program will connect your computer to the NetZero Voice Network.

Tips & Warnings
Be sure you have enough prepaid minutes when calling land lines and cell phones. You will be disconnected if you run out of minutes during a call.
