1
Apply eyeshadow. For blue eyes, orange, pink, blue, brown, light purple and light brown shadows work best. Green eyes can be intensified by copper, burgundy, fuschia and rust shades. For more intense brown eyes, beige, toffee and dark brown eyeshadow are the best choices.
Apply the eyeshadow to your eyelids with a make-up brush or a make-up sponge. Do not over-color your eyelids, as the amount of eyeshadow is not as important as the color you choose.

2
Line the top lash line with dark brown or black eyeliner. Draw the line as close to your eyelashes as possible, and extend the line up and out when you reach the outside of your eye. Eye color stands out when eyes stand out.

Match your clothes to your eye color. Eyes reflect the colors that are near them. If you wear a green shirt, it will reflect green light back into your eyes, making naturally green eyes appear more intense.

Select a hair color based on your eye color. If you have dark brown, gray or blue eyes, choose hair colors that are platinum blonde, shiny black and ashy brown. Green and hazel eyes stand out best with golden brown and auburn hair hues.
