How to Make a Morning Announcement Podcast for Your School

Podcasting is great way to improve communication between parents and their children's school. Our school has morning announcements that our principal reads over our P.A. system. I have started recording our morning announcements and podcasting them to the parents. Follow these steps to creating cool podcasts that the parents will appreciate.

  Place a laptop computer with GarageBand on the desk of the person who is reading the announcement.

  Record the announcement by hitting the "record" button in GarageBand.
- 3
  
  Add introduction music to the podcast.
- 4
  
  Add an ending theme song to the announcement.
- 5
  
  Export the podcast to iTunes.
- 6
  
  Email the podcast to the parents or upload it to your school website in MP3 format. If you need to create a website for this you can do it for free in Shutterfly, which is a photo sharing site that allows you to easily create a website in a matter of minutes.
