How to Apply Phisohex for Head Lice

Phisohex is a topical skin cleanser usually used for cleansing skin and preventing infections. It works like a detergent for the skin by preventing bacterial growth and cleansing the skin. You can use Phisohex to clean your skin for head lice the same way you would use it to treat any other area of your skin.

Instructions

    • 1

Put a teaspoon-sized portion of Phisohex in your hand, and rub your hands together to form a lather.

    • 2

Rub the Phisohex into your scalp, making sure to cover your entire head and the back of your neck where the lice might be. Avoid getting Phisohex into your eyes, as it can cause irritation and injury.

    • 3

Rinse the Phisohex out of your hair and then wash your hair as you normally would.

    • 4

Continue to use the Phisohex as recommended by your doctor. If you miss an application, resume your normal dosage as soon as possible afterwards.

Tips & Warnings

  • Only use Phisohex for head lice if your doctor has recommended it.

  • Do not use Phisohex on any burned or irritated area of your skin.

  • Young children may be at risk of developing severe reactions if they absorb Phisohex through the skin.
