How to Hook Up 3 Fta Receivers

Free to Air satellite dishes receive broadcasts from unscrambled signals. These signals can come from any location in the world; most FTA broadcasts originate from outside the United States. If you have an FTA satellite dish, you can connect a receiver to the dish and begin watching content from all over the world. You may be able to connect three separate FTA receivers to the satellite, but your dish must have at least three receptors. Look at the arm of your FTA dish; if there are three or more receptors, you can connect your receivers.

Things You'll Need

• FTA satellite
• Three FTA satellite receivers
• Coaxial cable
• Televisions

Instructions

1. Connect the coaxial cable running from the satellite dish into the "In" port on your first FTA receiver.

2. Attach a second coaxial cable into the "Out" port on the back of the FTA receiver. Plug the other end of the coaxial cable into the "In" port on the television.

3. Power on both the television and satellite receiver and adjust the TV station to either 3 or 4 (depending on the television's default setting).

4. Adjust the channel you want to view with the remote for the FTA receiver.

5. Repeat this process with all of the FTA receivers.

Tips & Warnings

• It is possible to use channel splitters running from the exterior of your FTA receiver if you do not have a satellite dish capable of supporting multiple receivers; however, all televisions connected to the one receiver must watch the same programming.
