How to Register for an LPN NCLEX Exam

The National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) is a standardized multiple-choice test that state boards of nursing use to establish whether a nursing candidate is eligible for licensing and ready to practice. These tests are provided for both licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and registered nurses (RNs). As of 2009, the registration fee is $200. You may register online, by mail or over the phone. Once you pass the NCLEX-LPN, you can work as an LPN in the state where you registered.
