How to Change Your Font Color on MSN

Windows Live Messenger is the instant messaging program that was previously known as MSN Messenger. When you hold a conversation with someone, the default font color is black against a white background. You can change that to one of sixteen different colors using the "Options" menu in Windows Live Messenger.

Instructions

      Launch the instant messenger program, and sign in using your screen name and password.

      Click on "Tools" in the menu bar at the top of the program and select "Options."

      Select "Messages" from the menu on the left side of the "Options" dialog box.

      Click the "Change Font" button. Click on the drop-down menu labeled "Color" at the bottom and select a new font color from the options provided.

      Click "OK" to save your new font color, and click "OK" again to exit the "Options" menu. Your instant message text will now be displayed in the color that you chose.
